Mark is a drummer from Baltimore City Maryland. He is presently the drummer for the New Life Sanctuary Church of God of Essex, MD music ministry. Mark enjoys playing a number of styles of music but funk and smooth jazz are his favorites. Having studied under a number of well known drummers, including the German swing drummer Arthur Von Bloomberg and fusion sensation Larry Bright, his skills, though still being groomed and perfected, are tight and would add a solid backing to any project. The most recent projects he has participated in are The James Bell Project, The Stugottz (formely Stewbone), The Karyn Olive Band, the alternative rock group Later Than Soon, led by his good friend singer/songwriter/guitarist/bassist Bert Hall, the Stu Smith Blues Band, the jazz fusion band Radiance and the R&B band Marquis Soul. He has also played in and for a number of other churches and bands in and around the Baltimore area.
